We are searching for a Global Finance Internal Control Manager to join Bull’s Finance team.

 

 

Job Summary

 

The Global Finance Internal Control Manager (Global FICM) is responsible for overseeing the risk and internal controls related to the finance function. The Global FICM reports to the Head of Finance Internal Control. The role manages and coordinates all risk and internal control initiatives and activities, including the review of controls, recommendations for improvements, employee training, and modifications to policies and procedures as needed. The Global FICM also acts as the liaison for all internal and external auditors.  

 

 

Job Responsibilities 

 

  • Define Objectives: Align the strategic objectives of the Finance Internal Control function with the Group CFO and Head of Group Internal Audit and Control, driving policies and initiatives that safeguard financial integrity and support Atos long-term goals. 

 

  • Coordination with Process owners: Raise awareness of ineffective processes and controls, contribute to the design and implementation of solutions in partnership with process owners to boost efficiency and compliance. 

 

  • IT application supporting Internal control: Take active role in the development, implementation, and management of IT applications e.g. FICT, GRC Module for SoD, AuditBoard to transform and streamline internal control processes, enhancing efficiency and scalability across the organization. 

 

  • Develop and Update Controls: Drive the finance function's input into the development and updating of the Book of Internal Control, internal control frameworks, standard finance processes, policies, and procedures in line with any applicable reorganizations and changes.  

 

  • Documentation and Supervision: Coordinate and supervise the documentation of key finance internal controls in the Internal Control Tool. Participate in the review and follow-up of completion and quality of internal controls. Ensure that the Internal Control Tool is maintained across all countries and locations and the execution of internal controls are adequately monitored. 

 

  • Internal Control Assessments: Conduct assessments of controls as defined in the Book of Internal Controls, defining and driving timely remediation actions for ineffective controls. 

 

  • Implementation and Training: Drive the implementation of key controls and standard processes, elevating control maturity levels across the organization Organize training and awareness sessions, and work closely with finance teams. 

 

  • Segregation of Duties (SoD): Oversee the SoD for the Finance function. Lead and coordinate SoD and access rights reviews and related projects with the support of Global IT Authorizations team to ensure robust access controls. 

 

  • Risk Identification: From a risk perspective, the Global Finance Internal Control Manager is a key contributor to timely identifying risks in strong collaboration with Finance management. 

 

  • Community Participation: Organize, lead and actively participate in the Internal Control community. Discuss improvements, share, and adopt best practices.  

 

  • Internal Audit Coordination: Oversee and coordinate internal audit assignments led by Group Internal Audit, ensuring timely, effective implementation of recommendations in collaboration with executors and management. Liaise continuously and proactively with the Group Internal Audit team. 

 

  • External Audit Liaison: Liaise with external auditors on risk and internal control-related matters, ensuring findings are addressed and implemented promptly. 

 

 

 

Profile and Experience 

 

  • Education: Business School or University degree in Finance/Accounting. 

 

  • Experience:  

         Knowledge of Finance processes with at least 10 years of experience in Finance/Accounting and/or Audit in an International Group.  

 

         Experience in Internal Control, Internal Audit, or Risk domains acquired in a similar position in international environment, with a track record of driving control improvements and influencing senior stakeholders. 

 

         Experience in a Big 4 audit firm will be considered a strong advantage. 

 

  • Certification: ACCA or COSO certification required; additional relevant certifications considered an advantage.
