Finance Project Controller

The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated expert to join us as Finance Project Controller! The team always strive for best practice, provide leadership, synergies through automation and encourage a focused approach to continuous improvement. We support acquisitions with their migration onto Eviden Finance systems and support the disposal and consolidation of entities. We are responsible for supporting the delivery of both global and local initiatives and rolling out global and local tooling and process improvements. We provide the Finance team with support, standardization and training to enable and empower themselves' and others! The role is project based and the workload is ad hoc in nature offering the opportunity to drive and support the implementation of change across the Finance team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support Global and local finance initiatives; Sharing Best Practice, lessons learnt and supporting training for the wider Finance team
• Support local GBU / RBU continuous improvements; problem solving, developing solutions and driving improvement projects
• Represent GBU/RBU with finance tool development and improvement
• Assist with rollout of new global/local processes
• Assist with acquisitions and migration onto Atos finance systems
• Assist with disposal and consolidation of entities

Required Skills and Experience:

• Formal accountancy qualification and a minimum 3 years PQ experience or qualified by significant accounting experience
• Dedicated individual who takes accountability for decisions and follows through on actions
• Adapts to changing circumstances and takes a positive approach to dealing with change
• Ability to prioritise and lead competing business demands and a dynamic ad-hoc workload
• Ability to quickly understand global or local initiatives and consider the impact of decisions and actions on the business and customers
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex messages
• Exceptional knowledge of the SAP system and other finance systems and processes
• Experience in project and change management
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project and of Microsoft Visio is an advantage
