We are looking for an experienced professional to join us as Deputy Head of Insurance Manager. Reporting to the Group Head of Insurance, you will act as the operational right hand of the Group Insurance function.

 

You will independently handle most operational, coordination, and reporting activities within an international and multicultural environment, while actively contributing to internal control, data quality, and strategic thinking regarding insurable risk management and risk financing. The position is key to ensuring the robustness, continuity, and scalability of the Group’s insurance processes.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Support the placement, renewal, and administration of the Group’s insurance programs in coordination with brokers and insurers.
  • Ensure alignment of local insurance policies with Group standards and maintain relationships with local entities.
  • Manage the issuance of insurance certificates, policies, and related contractual documentation.
  • Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders regarding insurance coverage, certificates, and claims processes.
  • Oversee administrative tasks throughout the year: purchase orders, premium payments, budget, and internal recharge processes for premiums and fees. 
  • Coordinate claims notifications and follow-up with brokers, insurers, legal teams, and external advisors.
  • Collect and structure insurance data (exposures, premiums, claims, coverage) and prepare regular management reports.
  • Work closely with internal legal teams, external lawyers and advisors, and broker claims advocacy teams on pre‑litigation and insurance litigation matters.
  • Support administrative processes, including premium payments, budgeting, and internal recharges.
  • Contribute to internal control, compliance activities, and analyses related to insurance strategy and risk financing.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in insurance, finance, law, risk management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance within a company, insurer, or brokerage.
  • Strong experience in financial or accounting operations. 
  • Strong understanding of insurance principles, international insurance programs, and insurance law fundamentals.
  • Fluent French and English.
  • Advanced Excel / Microsoft Office skills and strong analytical abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in an international environment.
  • Rigor, precision, and attention to detail, especially in data handling and contractual commitments.
  • Comfortable producing reliable, synthetic, decision‑oriented reporting.
