Role overview
We are looking for a hands‑on DevOps Architect to lead a next‑generation automation initiative where AI‑generated Ansible playbooks are triggered via Jira tickets and executed through a GitOps‑driven CI/CD pipeline. You will own the end‑to‑end workflow—from request to execution and validation—acting as the final technical gatekeeper to ensure correctness, security, and business alignment across multi‑cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end‑to‑end automation lifecycle - from Jira ticket intake through AI‑generated Ansible playbooks to execution, validation, and feedback loops.
- Design and govern GitOps‑based CI/CD pipelines, ensuring all infrastructure changes are version‑controlled, auditable, and policy‑driven.
- Validate and verify AI‑generated outputs, critically assessing Ansible playbooks for correctness, security, and operational readiness before execution.
- Architect and integrate automation workflows across major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring consistency and portability.
- Define and enforce secure automation practices, including secrets management, RBAC, and least‑privilege access across environments.
- Build validation and integration tooling using scripting and APIs to automate quality checks and system integrations.
- Bridge AI capabilities with real‑world DevOps delivery, collaborating with engineering and platform teams to align automation outcomes with business needs.
Requirements:
- Strong hands‑on experience with Ansible, including architecture design, playbook authoring, troubleshooting, and best practices.
- Solid cloud experience with at least one major hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or GCP), ideally in multi‑cloud or hybrid setups.
- Proven experience with GitOps practices and tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux) and Infrastructure‑as‑Code principles (Terraform or equivalent
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, YAML‑based configurations, and automated deployment workflows.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar) to build automation, validation, and integration logic.
- Familiarity with AI tooling and LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, LangChain) and principles of validating machine‑generated content.
- Security‑first mindset with experience in secure infrastructure automation, secrets handling, and access control models.
