Role Overview
We are looking for a Customer Master Data Specialist to support the creation, maintenance, and governance of master data across the organization. In this role, you will ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency while supporting business operations through timely processing of requests, data quality monitoring, reporting, and collaboration with internal stakeholders. You will also contribute to process improvements and support the overall master data lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Process requests for creation, update, and maintenance of customer master data records
- Maintain and govern master data objects, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance
- Manage data classifications, hierarchies, categorizations, and organizational structures
- Maintain pricing information, price lists, exchange rates, and bank details
- Monitor and support the master data lifecycle, ensuring data quality standards are met
- Perform data validation, transportation, and consolidation activities
- Investigate and resolve data quality issues, exceptions, and inconsistencies
- Handle non-standard requests, urgent cases, and escalations
- Act as a point of contact for stakeholders regarding master data-related inquiries
- Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports and monitor KPIs and SLAs
- Develop and maintain process documentation and work instructions
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous optimization initiatives
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Up to 1 year of professional experience in Master Data, Operations, Finance, Shared Services, or a related field
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills are an advantage
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks, identify risks, and solve problems effectively
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Customer-oriented, proactive, and team-player mindset
Languages
- English (professional working proficiency)
- French is considered an advantage
