Accounts Payable Associate

For our Global Business Services Center (GBSC), located in TSUM Business Center, we are looking for a Accounts Payable Associate.
The Accounts Payable Associate has a controlling and supporting role, focused on ensuring that the established processes are followed. This position is responsible for timely resolving of the queries, dealing with routine and non-routine issues and tasks and suggesting areas for improvements. The AP Associate creates and updates process and training documentation and makes sure all controls are in place.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring completion of agreed tasks in compliance with the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for financial transactional processing;
- Completion of financial transactional processes in accordance with relevant documentation, including process to monitor and track what’s performed and to ensure that all controls are in place and procedures are followed;
- Ensuring that queries are resolved on a timely basis and in accordance with KPIs, including anticipating time/task conflicts and planning mitigating actions to control risks, ensuring the queries are addressed in a systematic manner and customers are guided through the query mitigation process;
- Acting as a subject matter expert on accounts payable matters;
- Dealing as first level support on non-routine accounts payable issues;
- Flagging any issues where controls and standard processes are not being met;
- Suggesting areas where performance improvements could be made and discussing them with the team leader;
- Creating and updating of process documentation and the training materials;
- Supporting the team leader in achieving the strategic projects and goals of the company;
- Ensuring related SOX and Segregation of Duty is adhered to per Atos policies.
Requirements:
- BS/BA or advanced degree in Business Administration/ Accounting/ Finance or related;
- 1-3 years experience in Accounting or Finance;
- Fluent English language level. Additional foreign language with verbal and written communication skills at advanced level (B and above) would be an advantage;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite, SAP and Accounting;
- Intermediate knowledge of data entry;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Excellent detail orientation skill;
- Ability Works in fast-paced environment;
- Time Management skill / Meets Deadlines;
- Ability to work on own initiative;
- Ability to prioritize own and common deliverables;
- Experience in SSC working environment.
