Senior Accountant with French

For our Global Business Services Center (GBSC), located in TSUM Business Center, we are looking for an Senior Accountant with French.
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all intercompany transactions. This role ensures the accuracy and compliance of intercompany accounts, manages the reconciliation process, and works with various departments to optimize financial operations and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Intercompany accounting support – ensure timely and accurate recording of intercompany entries in the accounting system
- Review and improve the intercompany accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate guidelines
- Lead the monthly intercompany reconciliation process and lead resolving discrepancies
- Analyze the financial reports related to intercompany activities
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in intercompany accounting and reporting
- Lead and participate in projects to enhance the automation of intercompany processes
- Work closely with other finance teams (tax, treasury) and other departments to ensure the accuracy of intercompany transactions
- Assist with improving internal financial controls and procedures
Requirements:
- 5 years of previous experience in general accounting with a focus on intercompany transactions in a multination environment
- Fluent English and French language skills. Any other language skills would be as an advantage
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (SAP) but also reporting systems (HFM)
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices and finance principles and reporting
- Technical accounting skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi cultural environment with virtual team
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy
- Experience with process improvement and project management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
