    • Both spoken and written French - Native language or mastered

 

Summary:

The Information Security Advisor acts as an information security expert in consulting mandates in public bodies or large companies.  You will be involved in the development of bids or business opportunities in your field of expertise.  Join a team dedicated to the security of the client's information to implement the necessary framework to ensure governance and sound management of information security at the corporate level and the services offered to the various clients of an organization.   

   

Duties and responsibilities:    

  • Act as a security expert and to assist clients in conducting diagnostics and maturity assessments in the governance, management and operation of information security. 
  • Formulate guidelines to improve the management of their information systems, protect their information assets and secure the various environments supporting their business needs 
  • Participate in security planning and roadmaps and action plans to align information security with customers' business needs. 
  • Develop and evolve the principles of enterprise architecture in information security, customer safety standards in line with industry best practices.  
  • Write normative documents (policies, guidelines, frame of reference, guides, etc.) and governance and/or information security management frameworks or information security services, as well as any type of deliverables in this area. 
  • Establish requirements, security, and control measures to ensure compliance with the principles of architecture and standards related to information security.  
  • Monitor the various measures achieved to validate compliance 
  • They may audit or evaluate the safety of organizations, technology architectures and controls the existing based on generally recognized industry benchmarks.  
  • Categorize information, produce security risk assessment or analysis based on industry best practices.  
  • Collaborate in the development of the architecture and the determination of security and control measures to minimize risk and meet the business needs of customers. 
  • Keep an active watch over information and market security in the area of expertise.

 

Requirements:

    • Professional experience 9 years or more
    • Bachelor's in computer science or any other relevant field    
    • Minimum of ten (10) years of working experience in information technology.   
    • Minimum of seven (5) years in information security.   
    • Practical experience in drafting and implementing policies, guidelines, frame of reference, guides, governance framework and/or management.   
    • Practical experience in the application of standards, principles, methods, and best practices related to the governance and management of information security and/or information security services in a large public bodies or company.

 

Valued certifications: CRISC, CISM, CGEIT, CISA, CISSP, etc.
