Senior Database Administrator

We're looking for a Senior Database Administrator specializing in Oracle, IBM DB2 LUW, and MySQL database technologies.

What will you be doing:
• Perform daily administration of Oracle, IBM DB2 and MYSQL databases in both Development and Production environments.
• Responsible for support of all production databases and participates in rotating 24*7 oncall schedule
• Install, configure, upgrade and apply security patches to the databases.
• Configures and manages database backup/restore
• Implement and manage high availability database solutions such as DB2 HADR, MYSQL Replication and Oracle DataGuard.
• Develops, maintains, and enforces database policies and best practices
• Develops and maintains DBMS automations scripts where required.
• Integrates configurations and applications; manages migration of multiple concurrent DBMS instances, both production and development or test on various platforms.
• Participates in problem resolution and DBMS troubleshooting, documents problem resolution.
• Monitors database performance and recommends modifications to DB parameters (performance tuning)
• Develop, follow and maintain database security standard and policies.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience

• Specialization on Oracle, IBM DB2 and MYSQL databases

• Availability to work in rotating 24*7 oncall schedule
