Job Title: SOC Team Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SOC Team Lead to lead security operations and ensure timely threat detection, incident response, and SLA adherence. This role combines hands-on SOC expertise with team leadership and client engagement responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, analyze, and escalate security threats within customer environments.
• Ensure service delivery and team performance align with defined SLAs.
• Lead and mentor SOC analysts while managing daily operational activities.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams to maintain platform health and onboard new log sources/devices.
• Drive continuous improvement of SOC processes, playbooks, and response procedures.
• Act as a primary point of contact for customer communication and security-related discussions.
• Ensure adherence to security best practices and organizational standards.

Required Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4+ years of overall cybersecurity experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of SOC operations experience.
• Minimum 1+ year of team leadership or people management experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of client-facing experience.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM platforms, threat monitoring, incident handling, and SOC operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNA, CEH, or equivalent cybersecurity certifications.
• Experience with security monitoring, log analysis, and incident response.
• Understanding of security frameworks and industry best practices.
