PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST

We're looking for a Procurement Specialist to be focus in processing all procurement requests. This individual must be a critical thinker, ask questions and resolve issues. Extensive knowledge on process, relationships, systems/tools, and SLA’s is required. This individual needs to be highly motived with a high level of initiative, flexibility, be customer service oriented with a strong attention to detail. Internal/External Job Description Manage software/hardware 

What will you be doing:

• Create and manage tasks/requisitions within a client system and Atos system 
• Obtain Vendor quotes 
• Manage the approval process with the client and the internal business unit 
• Ensure purchase order is issued in a timely manner 
• Provide timely updates to an internal task system with multiple status updates daily 
• Close out order and task 
• Review invoice and process goods receipt Relationships

• Minimize SLA exposure and adhere to strict deadlines 
• Understand the Complexity of the account 
• Follow New Procedures and tool implementation 
• Communicate effectively  

• Expedite orders for high priority projects 

• Communicate professionally and effectively with the client regarding the status of their request

• Manage Service Integrator 
• Manage Internal Procurement Team 
• Manage Internal Business Unit Towers 

Requirements: 
• 5 years of experience
• Client facing experience
• Procurement management experience. 
• Customer executives 
• Vendor Additional 
• Pro-active, self-starter, problem solving skills 
• Understand the obligations for Procurement as a Service (PaaS) 
• A plus if familiar with State of Texas procurement policy 
• Knowledge of Servers, MF, Storage, Maintenance Support and Software 
• Strong Procurement Representative  
• Ability to resolve issues by effectively researching and assigning/engaging/escalating to the right organization. Must be able to adhere to Atos and customer’s procurement guidelines
