Lead – Software Asset Life Cycle Management Role Description: Supervisor position is responsible for providing quality and efficient service to customers through the daily management of a team of employees which includes hiring, motivating, recognizing and rewarding, coaching, counselling, training, and problem solving. Additionally, the position is responsible for assisting the manager with development, process improvement initiatives; internal reporting to Corporate and business units; coordinating and fulfilling requests related to internal/external audit and special projects. Job Description: • Good understanding of Data collection, data mining, analysis and reconciliation • Provides daily direction and communication to employees so that tasks are worked in a timely, efficient and knowledgeable manner. • Serve as point of contact as well as mentor for resolving complicated issues related to contract management, Maintenance contract data reviews and support for renewals • Should be capable to undertake process re-engineering exercise in order to strengthen the control mechanism as well as to streamline entire flow by reducing non value add activities and reduce the chances for manual errors if any • Provides day-to-day leadership to team members including proactive guidance, troubleshooting support, issue escalation and support • Has responsibility for leading, coaching, developing, and supporting larger team consisting of senior members • Supports recruiting, staffing, training and on boarding processes as appropriate • Assists with performance management processes (e.g., goal setting, performance evaluation, etc.); completes performance evaluations for assigned staff • Identify and mitigate any risks/issues that are foreseen as potential bottlenecks to the process • Identify training needs, organise relevant training & refresher sessions for the team and Ensure training & developmental plan preparation for all the team members • Ensure rigor of discipline in implementation by creating high performance work cultures built on best practices Skills and Experience : • Overall around 2-3 years of experience in managing teams (Team size of 5 to 15 FTE’s) • Experience in Hardware & Software Asset Management (Compulsory) • Efficient in handling various activities with small teams with key focus on adherence to the SLA’s & SOP’s through knowledge-based implementations for enhanced operational effectiveness • Effective communicator with excellent relationship building & interpersonal skills with clients, relationship management • Strong Problem Solving skills with ability to identify the problem, perform causal analysis and generate timely, well developed long lasting solutions • Ability to align himself / herself as per US working hours • Should have good reporting skills. Technical Skills and Experience : • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications • Excellent knowledge in MS Excel and reporting skills • Strong analytical skills Educational Qualification: • Graduate/Post Graduate
