Experienced Senior SAP Basis Consultant with strong expertise in SAP system installation, upgrades, migrations, and ongoing support.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of SAP landscapes across multiple platforms, including cloud and on-premises environments.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end SAP Basis activities including installation, configuration, upgrades, and migrations of SAP systems. Manage and support SAP landscapes such as SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA and SAP EWM environments. Configured and maintained SAP Cloud Connector to enable secure connectivity between SAP BTP and on-premises systems.
• Troubleshot issues related to destinations, connectivity failures, timeouts, and authorization errors between BTP and backend systems. Managed security configurations including principal propagation, SSL certificates, and secure communication (HTTPS). 
• Administer and support SAP solutions including SAP RISE, SAP BTP, and SAP CALM. Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system availability and performance.
• Execute SAP system refreshes, client copies, kernel upgrades, and patch management.
• Plan and execute database migrations (e.g., to SAP HANA) and support both HANA and Oracle database environments. Manage SAP transport management system (TMS) and ensure smooth movement across landscapes.

• Configure and maintain SAP Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions and ensure secure authentication mechanisms.

• Ensure compliance with security standards, including user administration, role management, and audit support. Handle backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning and execution. Collaborate with functional and technical teams to support project implementations and issue resolution. Participate in on-call support and provide timely resolution for production issues. 

Required Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration.
• Strong experience in SAP system installation, upgrades, and migration projects.
• Expertise in SAP HANA database administration and working knowledge of Oracle databases.
• Experience on SAP RISE, SAP BTP, and SAP ALM tools and services.
• Solid understanding of SAP architecture, system landscapes, and high-availability setups.
• Experience in SSO configuration (SAML, Kerberos, or similar technologies). Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an added advantage. Familiarity with automation tools and scripting is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. SAP certifications in Basis/HANA are preferred.
