Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, RESTful Web API, and related technologies.
• Drive the end-to-end migration of legacy .NET applications (ASP.NET Web Forms/Classic ASP) to modern .NET Core Web APIs.
• Architect backend components, API frameworks, and data access layers.
• Integrate with Azure cloud services including Azure SQL, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Storage, Service Bus, etc.
• Participate in system architecture discussions and long-term technical roadmap planning.
• Enforce code quality standards through code reviews, design patterns, and best practices.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges across multi-tier systems.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and foster team knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to clearly explain technical choices, trade-offs, and solution impacts.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of professional experience in .NET application development.
• Deep expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, RESTful Web API, MVC, and Entity Framework/Core.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and cloud databases (e.g., Azure SQL).
• Advanced understanding of software design principles, architectural patterns, and distributed applications.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying applications on Azure cloud.
• Strong proficiency with Git, branching strategies, pipelines, and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with JavaScript/jQuery; exposure to Vue.js is beneficial.
• Excellent analytical thinking, debugging capability, leadership presence, and communication skills.
• Ability to present technical decisions effectively to both engineering teams and business stakeholders.

Good to Have

• Experience with SSRS or similar reporting tools.
• Familiarity with containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience in performance optimization and security best practices.
