Location: Mumbai / Bangalore / Chennai

Experience: 12–15 years (Hands-on coding is mandatory)

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Product Owners to understand product roadmap, feature rollouts, backlog creation, and sprint planning
  • Coordinate work allocation across multi-location developers and testers
  • Participate in sprint reviews, retrospectives, and prepare weekly/monthly reports
  • Troubleshoot complex coding challenges and guide developers on best practices
  • Ensure clean, readable, and maintainable Ruby code aligned with scalable architecture principles

 

Technical Skills Required:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails
  • Experience with RSpec, Resque
  • Good understanding of server-side templating languages (Liquid, Slim, etc.)
  • Knowledge of server-side CSS preprocessors (Sass)
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
  • Strong understanding of scalable application design and database schema modeling
  • Proficiency in code versioning tools (Git / Mercurial / SVN)
  • Familiarity with development and build tools (Bundler, Rake, Bower, etc.)
  • Experience with Jira and Agile/Scrum methodology

 

Mandatory:

✅ Hands-on coding experience is a must
✅ Tech Lead experience in Ruby on Rails projects
