Requirements

• Strong expertise in SAP SD architecture and solution design.
• Experience in designing end-to-end SAP SD solutions aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.
• Hands-on experience with e-Invoicing implementations across multiple countries and understanding of regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of integration of third-party e-invoicing platforms with SAP systems.
• Strong experience with IDoc configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to design and manage SAP integrations with external systems such as partners, customers, and government portals.
• Experience working with cross-functional SAP modules including FI, MM, ABAP, Basis, and PI/PO.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to work with business and technical teams.
• Understanding of global compliance, fiscal regulations, and security standards related to e-invoicing and data exchange.
• Ability to analyse existing processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience in documentation, training, and knowledge transfer for users and support teams.
• Proven ability to lead SAP project teams and deliver solutions within project timelines.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design and architecture of SAP SD modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Translate complex business processes into SAP SD solutions following industry standards and best practices.
• Architect and implement e-invoicing solutions in compliance with country-specific regulatory requirements.
• Integrate third-party e-invoicing platforms with SAP SD and ensure seamless data exchange with external portals and government systems.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot IDoc interfaces for efficient integration between SAP and external systems.
• Oversee the implementation of standard and custom IDoc types, manage error handling, and optimize processing performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to capture requirements and define solution roadmaps.
• Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions and provide expert guidance during the project lifecycle.
• Lead and mentor SAP SD project teams, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (FI, MM, ABAP, Basis, PI/PO) to deliver integrated solutions.
• Ensure compliance with legal, fiscal, and security standards for e-invoicing and IDoc processes.
• Monitor and adapt solutions to changing global e-invoicing regulations.
• Identify opportunities to optimize SAP SD processes, improve efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
• Implement process improvements, automation, and analytical tools where appropriate.
• Prepare documentation, guidelines, and training materials for users and support teams.
• Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer activities.
