The Opportunity

The ARAA (Automation, RPA, AI and Analytics) practice represents a growing capability within Atos and currently comprises a dedicated team of analysts, developers, consultants and architects covering all aspects of the information management lifecycle, from data management through to business intelligence and analytics. The practice is technology agnostic and has capability across a range of technologies, including products from SAP, IBM, Microsoft, Tableau and Qlik.

Atos works with a range of large organisations facing an ever-increasing demand to realise greater value from their data and are seeking the skills to present that data in various ways using one of the leading visualisation tools. We use a variety of tools but the most common, and specific to this opportunity, is now Microsoft Power BI.

We are therefore seeking dedicated Power BI Consultants to join our fast-growing team, working with various clients but with the ability to gain clearance to work in the public sector!

 

Day to day responsibilities

  • Input into or sole definition of Visualisation SSAS Models
  • Design of BI visualisations using wireframes
  • Development of visualisations in Power BI
  • Client facing role working through requirements gathering to delivering the visualisations
  • Definition and estimation of the effort to deliver the visualisations

 

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain an SC clearance (residing in the UK&I for the past min. 5 consequent years)
  • Significant and demonstrable experience in the use of Power BI across multiple projects
  • In-depth knowledge of modelling in Power BI
  • Demonstrate experience across a range of relational and database technology, including Oracle and SQL Server and data lakes
  • Able to demonstrate good analytical skills and a logical approach to problem solving
  • Pragmatic and detail orientated
  • Excellent organisational and co-ordination skills
  • Superb communication skills, both orally and in writing

 

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in other business intelligence tools
  • Ideally some experience in AWS
