Senior Consultant (Multiple Positions Available)

Work as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Solution Architect on technologies and trends in Microservices development, event driven service architecture, and BI application/solution architecture.

Collaborate with technology, business, and product partners to create requirements, use case documents, and architect the end state of the platform.

Work with other Architects and technical teams to create BI applications, business architecture strategy, and blueprinting (design and develop new as well enhance existing applications).

Automate business process with custom tools.

Prepare detailed design documents and software requirements for specification documents.

Implement Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) throughout all custom developments.

Work on various design deliverables and ensure all design objects created meet client and company technical standards.

Build and deploy domain driven services on premises Pivotal Cloud Foundry environment.

Use GitHub as the source control repository and continuous code quality pipeline using SonarQube and Jenkins.

Utilize Microservices to verify functionality.

Perform reviews of code and test results to verify functionality is working as expected. Work closely with the application team on troubleshooting technical issues and bug fixes and support testing during System Integration (SIT) and User Acceptance (UAT) phases of the project.

Lead the application transformation effort for existing Business Intelligence & Analytics platforms from monolithic to domain driven Cloud architecture with Microservices.

Leverage experience and knowledge of complex IT systems and applications to design, architect and deploy future ready Cloud native applications.

May be assigned to and provide products/support to specific industry groups such as automotive, banking and finance, healthcare, insurance, and information technology.

 

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related.

 

Five (5) years of any occupation with Information Technology experience, or related.

 

Five (5) years of required IT, or related experience must include: Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); Microservices; Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms such as: Microsoft Power BI, TIBCO product, Tableau; RESTful API; Version Control Systems such as: GIT, SVN; Object Oriented Programming Languages such as: Java, Python; CI/CD tools such as: Jenkins, Udeploy; Project Management tools such as: JIRA, VersionOne, HP Agile Manager.

 

ROVING/TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE: Reports to company headquarters in Plano, TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute.

 

EOE. 8AM to 5PM. M-F. 40 hrs/wk. Salary: $132,933 - $133,933
