Consultant (Multiple Positions Available)

Collaborate with business partners from multiple disciplines to elicit, document, prepare, and manage business requirements packages for stakeholder sign-off and delivery to technical teams.

Establish meaningful traceability between related requirements. Document requirement artifacts utilizing industry standard diagram techniques to enhance the clarity of definition, including process flows, context diagrams, use cases, wireframes, etc.

Act as a liaison between business and IT design and delivery teams. Interface with business partners, technical resources (i.e., Solution Engineers, Systems Analysts, Developers, Architecture, and Quality Assurance) to translate and simplify requirements, ensure requirements are met through-out entire SDLC framework, and verify that the implemented solution meets the requirements. Partner with QA team and SMEs to ensure adequate test coverage.

Interact with various end user teams during beta testing to gather feedback on application usability. Involve in creating Test Strategy for User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Work on JIRA to help Quality Assurance team in defect tracking.

Work with Project Managers and Senior Business Analysts on reporting progress and risks to project stakeholders and collect feedback. Provide support to Project Managers and review efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.

Work with stakeholders to conduct training sessions/ demos and develop manuals/ user guides. Identify and articulate the need for requirement changes and assess the impacts of the change. Follow Agile methodology.

May be assigned to and provide products/ support to specific industry groups such as automotive, banking and finance, healthcare, insurance, and Information Technology.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related. Five (5) years of any occupation with Information Technology experience, or related.

Five (5) years of required IT, or related experience must include: Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); Agile methodology; Project Management tools such as: JIRA, Confluence, Rally, or other; Microsoft Visio; AWS (Amazon Web Services), or Azure.

ROVING/TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE: Reports to company headquarters in Plano, TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute.

Salary: $143,663 – 144,663 per year
