As part of our efforts to strengthen our France tax function, we are hiring a Senior Tax Manager to share responsibility for the France perimeter with the current Tax Manager. This is an operational tax role for which we are seeking a hands-on candidate.

Main Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Co-manage the France tax perimeter alongside the current Tax Manager
- Supervise the current Tax Manager (as well as, indirectly, his or her intern)
- Develop the team
Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Be owner of tax compliance processes for France entities: validate the corporate income tax returns (incl. group tax return) and other compliance requirements
- Manage and coordinate the French R&D tax credit process
- Implement the France electronic invoicing reform
- Review tax reporting packages and provide data to the Central Tax Team (tax audits and litigations, accruals, cash-out, budgets, forecasts)
- Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of the tax-related policies and procedures
Tax Advisory & Strategic Support
- Provide proactive and pragmatic tax advice on projects involving France entities (M&A, reorganizations, intra-group agreements, cross-border transactions, etc.), covering all types of taxes
- Advise on tax strategies using a business-oriented and actionable approach
- Provide support on transfer pricing issues (including documentation compliance, etc.)
- Monitor legislative developments, analyze their impacts, formulate recommendations, and propose action plans to management
Tax Audits & Litigation
- Manage and coordinate tax audits and litigations in France
- Liaise with tax authorities and external advisors
- Internal Collaboration & Stakeholders Management
- Collaborate internally (with Finance, Legal, IT, Operations, etc.) to ensure that practices are aligned with tax regulations and Group policies
- Serve as a key advisor to senior management (Group Tax Director, Heads of Finance/Accounting, etc.)
Candidate Profile
Education & Qualifications
- Master degree in tax law
- Initial legal education background is required
Professional Experience
- 10+ years of experience in the tax department of an international group and/or a Big 4 firm
- Proven experience in tax compliance, advisory, audits and litigations
- Strong technical knowledge of corporate taxation, VAT, transfer pricing and international tax principles
- Hands-on experience in implementing the France electronic invoicing reform
- A management experience is a plus
