We are looking for a Test Automation Expert (m/f) for our location in Osijek to join our new team. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Android, iOS, and web applications as part of a mission‑critical communications development team.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve bugs.
  • Create test plans and test cases based on user requirements.
  • Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Automate tests using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or JMeter.
  • Contribute to CI/CD setup and test automation pipelines in Jenkins.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and maintain test artifacts.
 

Mission 1: Design

  • Review requirements and user stories to define test scenarios.
  • Prepare structured test plans and test cases.
  • Contribute to defining acceptance criteria with the development team.

 

Mission 2: Execution

  • Execute manual and automated tests across mobile (Android/iOS) and web platforms.
  • Maintain and improve automated test scripts.
  • Support test environment setup and CI/CD test execution.
  • Use DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, OpenProject) for tracking work and defects.
 

Mission 3: Quality Assurance & Reporting

  • Report, track, and document defects clearly and efficiently.
  • Participate in regression testing and release validation.
  • Provide input on quality metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Keep testing documentation up to date.
 

Mission 4: Team & Process Participation

  • Work collaboratively within an agile, international team.
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies (daily, planning, review, retrospective).
  • Share knowledge and support continuous improvement of QA practices.
  • Ensure timely delivery and consistent quality standards.
 

Requirements

  • Technical or computer science background.
  • 2–5 years of experience in software testing.
  • Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, C#, Python).
  • Basic Linux scripting skills (Bash).
  • Experience with test automation tools is preferable:
    • Playwright, Selenium, Appium, JMeter
  • Understanding of CI/CD, preferably Jenkins‑based pipelines.
  • Familiarity with DevOps/management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, OpenProject).
  • Good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • ISTQB certification is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; French or German is a plus.
  • Strong teamwork, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
