We are looking for a Technical Integrator (m/f) for our location in Osijek to join our new team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure enterprise‑grade servers and infrastructure components.
- Set up, deploy, and validate software on Linux‑based and virtualized environments.
- Maintain system updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Monitor hardware and software performance across test and production‑like environments.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation (installation guides, user manuals).
- Support network, hardware, and software activities for typical enterprise server deployments.
- Maintain the Testlab, ensuring stable environments for development, testing, and integration.
Mission 1: System Setup & Deployment
- Conduct physical server installation and initial configuration.
- Configure Linux systems, hypervisors, and network components (gateway, router, proxy, firewall).
- Set up VPN gateways, install software packages, and prepare deployment environments.
- Support containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and contribute to network integration tasks.
Mission 2: Maintenance & Operations
- Perform system updates, patches, and regular maintenance activities.
- Monitor infrastructure health, logs, and performance metrics.
- Support virtualization platforms (VMware, Proxmox, KVM) and troubleshoot system‑level issues.
- Maintain CI/CD and DevOps workflows (Jenkins-based pipelines).
Mission 3: Quality & Testing Support
- Assist with test automation and execution of automated scripts.
- Contribute to validation and integration testing workflows across the Testlab.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure issues are reproduced, tested, and resolved.
- Keep documentation related to testing, installation, and maintenance up to date.
Mission 4: Team & Collaboration
- Work in an agile, international environment with cross‑functional engineering teams.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and improvement of operational practices.
- Support smooth coordination across development, QA, and system engineering teams.
- Ensure reliability, consistency, and quality of deliverables.
Requirements
- Technical or computer science educational background.
- 2–3 years of experience in system engineering, system administration, or similar role.
- Experience with:
- Linux systems (various distributions)
- Network setup and configuration (gateway, router, proxy, firewall)
- Virtualization platforms: VMware, Proxmox, KVM
- Containerization: Docker; Kubernetes as a strong plus
- DevOps / CI/CD processes (Jenkins)
- Development‑support tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, OpenProject)
- Basic programming/scripting knowledge (Java, C#, Python, Bash).
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and test automation concepts.
- Strong English skills; French or German is an advantage.
- Reliable, structured, and proactive mindset; able to work independently and collaboratively.
