Atos Public Safety - Network Operations Center Technician – Next Generation 911

As an NOC support technician, you are required to support network infrastructure consisting of IP networks and routing within a Next Generation 911 services environment. This is a 24x7 incident management triage and initial troubleshooting role requiring a foundational understanding of MPLS/SDWAN technology.
What will you be doing:
- Support a shift orientated role, days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- 12-hour Work Shift Arrangement
- Day Shift: Four Days on | Four Days off
- 8AM to 8PM US EST
- Night Shift: Four Nights on | Four Nights off
- 8PM to 8AM US EST
- Day Shift: Four Days on | Four Days off
- 12-hour Work Shift Arrangement
- Network Infrastructure support of LAN/WAN services
- Next Generation 911 support of Voice and Text services
- Highly incident driven supporting network infrastructure trouble tickets.
- Escalates network transport issues and outages to L2 NOC support engineers and vendors as needed.
Requirements:
- Incident handling process, experience using trouble ticket and fault management systems.
- Foundational understanding Network Operating Systems
- Exposure to CISCO products (routers, switches and firewalls)
- Triage and troubleshoot MPLS, BGP, SDWAN and BFD protocols
- Can serve as a valued team member, demonstrating clear and effective communication, coordination, and collaboration skills (oral and written English) with a proven ability to work as a part of a global team, despite the diversity (cultural, geographic, and other differences).
- Highly customer focused illustrating excellent email and telephone etiquette.
- Established listening, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
- BSC/ Networking or Job History of Networking Systems
- +2 years of successful technical experience in related field and successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge - Nice to have “CISCO certifications.”
- +2 years of network operational center support experience
- Demonstrates ability to adapt within technologies, processes, and practices in area of specialization or discipline.
- Illustrates strong team collaboration and partners well with others.
Leverages prior knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues.
