Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance SAP MDG applications (data models, user interfaces, workflows) using SAP standard frameworks.
• Partner with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Implement data governance processes to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance.
• Integrate SAP MDG with SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g. PLM Teamcenter) to enable seamless enterprise data flows.
• Configure, customize, and troubleshoot MDG modules for optimized performance.
• Conduct system testing, validation, and deployment activities.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and ongoing support to stakeholders.
• Stay ahead of the curve by exploring emerging technologies in MDG and AI to continuously improve solutions.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of SAP experience with at least 4 years in SAP MDG (Technical).
• Proven track record of 2+ end-to-end MDG implementations, ideally in Material Master with PLM Teamcenter integration.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP MDG architecture, data & process modeling, and configuration.
• Hands-on expertise in MDG Rule-based workflows, BRF+, DQM, and Responsibility Management.
• Strong skills in ABAP programming and SAP UI5/Fiori development.
• Solid understanding of data replication (SOA Services, ALE/IDOCs via DRF+).
• Excellent problem-solving mindset, with strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications
• SAP certifications in MDG or related areas.
• Experience in data migration and data quality tools.
