Responsible for BigID platform support, including health monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting to ensure system stability and uptime. Supports data discovery, classification, and event management while assisting with deployments, integrations, and reporting. Also provides ongoing operational support, training, and ensures compliance with DR/BCP requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor BigID platform health, uptime, and perform scheduled maintenance with stakeholder communication
• Conduct scanner infrastructure health checks and execute version upgrades across regions
• Perform network/connectivity checks and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, including scan failures
• Ensure DR/BCP compliance and maintain environment hygiene and deployments
• Support data discovery, classification, and sensitivity rule implementation as per business/regulatory needs
• Execute data scans, validation, and reporting to establish enterprise data inventory
• Manage events, including false/true positive analysis, assignment, and remediation validation
• Assist in deployment and configuration of BigID across data sources (databases, cloud, warehouses)
• Integrate BigID with governance/reporting tools and provide training, handover, and ongoing support

Technical Skills

• Basic hands-on experience with BigID platform (monitoring, scans, troubleshooting)
• Knowledge of data discovery and classification concepts
• Understanding of databases and cloud data sources (SQL, AWS/Azure)
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows systems
• Basic network troubleshooting (connectivity, ports, access issues)
• Experience in incident/event management and issue resolution
• Understanding of scanner setup and upgrade support
• Basic scripting knowledge (Shell/Python/PowerShell) is a plus

Experience & Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in data security / BigID / data governance support

Hands-on experience in support, monitoring, and troubleshooting

Basic knowledge of databases, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and infrastructure

Familiarity with data discovery and classification tools

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to follow SOP-driven operations and escalation procedures.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends or holidays if required.
• Proactive learner and strong team player.
