We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Tester with Selenium expertise to join our team in the public safety telecom domain. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in performance and automation testing and be capable of delivering independently in a fast-paced environment.

 

Location - Chennai 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute performance and automation testing activities across telecom/public safety platforms.

  • Develop and maintain test plans, estimations, scripts, and execution strategies.

  • Routinely run performance tests and maintain historical records of results.

  • Analyze test outcomes to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance.

  • Configure performance counters using PerfMon to monitor CPU, memory, disk I/O, and network usage.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage and quality standards.

 

Technical Skills & Tools

  • Programming/Scripting: Bash, Perl, Java, Python, Groovy, Node.js

  • Monitoring & Visualization: Grafana, Telegraf, New Relic, ELK Stack

  • Automation Tools: Selenium, Jenkins

  • Performance Tools: LoadRunner, JMeter, SimSlientSIP, Justle, Media Handler (added advantage)

  • Feature Testing Tools: Options-App, HELD/LoST mock servers (Node.js based) (added advantage)

  • Log Analysis: Call Quality Metrics, Justle logs, SCS Errors

  • Database: InfluxDB testing and tuning

  • Alarms & Monitoring: Zabbix

  • Networking: Strong understanding across all OSI layers

 

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in performance and Selenium testing

  • Proven expertise in telecom and public safety domains

  • Ability to work independently and manage testing lifecycle end-to-end
