The Project Manager is responsible for oversight of programs and projects in support of business-driven initiatives. The PM will take from initial concept through final implementation utilizing project management disciplines and methodologies. They estimate project scope and staffing while integrating resources to deliver defined project milestones on time and within budget. In addition the managing individual projects the Project Manager may lead multiple related projects under a coordinated program structure. Such programs will have related complexity and enterprise visibility.

A) Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, IT or other related field or equivalent training

• Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent training/work experience

B) Experience:

• Must have extensive experience with MS Project as a scheduling tool

• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in IT services

• Experience with Program/Project Management in IT outsourcing environment

• Minimum of 3 years or more years of management or matrix management experience

• Experience in international assignments/working internationally.

• Has a proven record of realistic estimation and demonstrates the financial/cost awareness along with the customer facing and behavioral skills

C) Job Skills:

• Able to quickly adapt to changing situations. Demonstrate flexible thinking when making decisions. Deal well with ambiguity.

• Able to demonstrate and apply a broad knowledge of specialized field and/or multiple disciplines to ensure successful completion of complex assignments.

• Able to efficiently and effectively find answers to questions. Establishes key contacts and leverages existing knowledge and tools to complete assignments.

• Able to gather facts and asks appropriate questions to resolve problems based on sound judgment. Knows when and how to escalate issues in a professional manner. Takes responsible and sound risks when appropriate.

• Able to positively influence the behavior of others. Can take charge when appropriate. Able to adapt leadership styles according to project environment.

• Exhibits flexibility and objectivity in working with others to meet common objectives and organizational goals. Effectively communicates project information to clients and internal management.

• Proven ability to lead a diverse team from all areas of an organization

• Can effectively manage competing priorities and demands.

• Able to coordinate various elements of a project.

• Ability to work independently and remotely.

• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

• Excellent communications skills – verbal and written

• Advanced skills with Microsoft Project, Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, basic Visio skills
