About the role:

 

We are currently seeking a Sales Consultant with a strong emphasis on solution sales in both Big data and Edge AI, computer vision and predictive analytics; the successful candidate will either have current confirmed experience in systems sales or will have a strong big data background born out of leading large solutions sales to key clients.

This role will work closely with specialist sector sales teams and other Atos service lines to construct sales campaigns for customers.

A daring problem solver and standout colleague is required who can communicate sophisticated ideas, both verbally, in presentations and in the written word.

The candidate must be analytical in nature and take overall responsibility for proposals that are submitted to customers within their target accounts, pulling together a virtual deal team comprised of solutions architects, commercial managers, bid managers and other partners.

Knowledge and experience of the Big Data and analytics market is a key requirement as is a passion and enthusiasm for the benefits that this technology can bring.

Having an extended network of contacts in this sector is required.

A technical soft skill is required too. (the actual perimeter is focused on selling high value infrastructures and solutions)

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Business development and sales of Atos Big Data hardware and software solutions, computer vision platform, various big data appliances and associated services in close collaboration with our specialist practice.

The role is focused on strategic clients across different sectors. The territory covered will be Milan, Italy and will involve frequent travel to customer sites, based on a hybrid working model.

The role will help to develop the local go to market strategy based on the global principles and the opportunity to grow a team to address the growing market areas.

 

Required capabilities:

 

  • Strong sales heritage in either of the following services:

Big Data, Edge AI, Edge Computing, Hardware infrastructure (x86 – Power, etc.)

A basic technical skill is required

  • Ability to convert technology propositions into business value for clients
  • A passion for science and the capabilities that Big Data can deliver.
  • Excellent customer facing and customer leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels: presentation, written and verbal.
  • To be able to own a sales campaign from the ground up, through different stages of the sales cycles.
  • Respond to tenders sometimes to tight deadlines. To totally lead the solution response and coordinate members within other teams in achieving answers.
  • Work with the pre-sales team in qualifying deals, attending sales-led meetings, and provide presentations to clients.
  • To stay ahead of the Atos BDS roadmap and how this can influence customer requirements.
  • Communicate clearly and efficiently into a wider project team that will consist of sales, presales, solution architects, project managers, and business development managers.
  • Can handle workload and priorities independently of manager.
  • Comfortable working remotely, and also working with colleagues in other countries.
  • Degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Business or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in Italian and English language.
