Site Reliability Engineer Experience:
Modality: fulltime
Location: remote in Mexico (any state)
4-6 years of professional experience in a Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a related software engineering role with a focus on operations.
Coding & Automation: Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python strongly preferred) for the purpose of automation and tool development.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Deep, hands-on expertise with Terraform for building and managing complex cloud environments.
CI/CD: Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines from the ground up using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.
SRE Principles: A strong, practical understanding of core SRE concepts, including SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, toil reduction, and blameless culture.
Monitoring & Alerting: Extensive experience with modern observability platforms (New Relic preferred) and incident management tools (PagerDuty preferred).
Source Control: Expertise in Git-based source control and collaborative workflows (e.g., GitHub).
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead complex troubleshooting efforts under pressure."
