Job Description: Senior QA Tester

Role Summary: We are seeking a Senior QA Tester with strong experience in test automation and validation of distributed systems. This role will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining automated tests to ensure the quality of our applications, particularly those interacting with cloud services and message queues such as Amazon SQS.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute functional, regression, and integration test plans.

• Develop automation scripts using Selenium, Playwright, and Postman.

• Validate workflows involving Amazon Queue (SQS) and other AWS services.

• Identify, document, and track system defects.

• Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality deliveries.

• Participate in code reviews and define acceptance criteria.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and internal tools.

 

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in QA or testing roles.

• Proven experience in automation with Selenium, Playwright, and Postman.

• Hands-on knowledge of Amazon SQS and queue-based architectures.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency with test management and bug tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).

Nice to Have: • Certifications in QA, AWS, or test automation. • Experience with CI/CD and automated testing pipelines. • Basic programming skills (JavaScript, Python, or Java).
