SAS Administrator
Location : Mexico or Monterrey (hybrid position)
Upgrades: Install and configure SAS software (e.g. SAS 9.4 ) on servers or cloud as well as upgrading the desktop software from 7.15 to 8.x
User Management: Create, manage, and deactivate SAS users; configure roles and permissions; troubleshooting access issues
Security & Access: Set up and maintain authentication (Active Directory), authorize access to data and Environments
Performance Tuning: Monitor and tune SAS server performance, memory use, I/O, disk utilization, and job execution
Scheduling Jobs: Configure and monitor batch jobs via tidal
Patch Management: Validate the environment after IT applies software updates, hotfixes, and ensure compatibility
Data Integration: Connect SAS to external databases (We have connections already to HR, EDW, and AWS, but will need connections to Azure and SQL Server, etc. in the future)
Backup & Recovery: Set up backup plans for metadata, data, and configurations
Logging & Auditing: Enable and monitor logs for usage, errors, and security auditing
Support & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve system errors, job failures, and user issues
Language: English advance
