FULLSTACK DEVELOPER (PHP / LARAVEL)

About This Job

The role involves full-stack PHP using Laravel framework development with a focus on building new capabilities and enhancing existing products, vendor API integration and production issues resolution. Among the responsibilities of this position include writing server-side web applications using PHP 7.2 as a programming language,
Laravel framework, MySQL database, AWS platform. The role includes designing and developing back-end components, Single Page Applications and connecting applications to 3rd party web services and API's, additionally, the role calls for assisting front-end developers to ensure their work integrates adequately into the application.

Responsibilities:

Participate in technical design and contribute insights and ideas.

Successfully troubleshoot most applications problems independently, determine the root cause and fix the problem.

Contribute to the development of project plans, identify key milestones, and raise critical project issues such as resource needs and contingencies.

Technical requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• 5+ years' of full-stack development experience, developing RESTful web services, microservices and Single Page Applications.

• 2+ years' of designing and implementing Web Solutions

• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams

• Proficiency with the following technologies: PHP 7.2 as a programming language, Laravel framework, MySQL database, AWS platform, Swagger Docs

• Proven ability to design and implement responsive Single Page Applications (SPAs)

• Strong understanding of Agile methodology/concepts

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and non-technical

• Strong work ethic, comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to independently manage a workload with multiple priorities

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns

• Proficiency with the following technologies: PHP 7.2 as a programming language, Laravel framework, MySQL database, AWS platform, Swagger Docs
