The BDS Digital Security Division of North America Eviden seeks an experienced Azure Cloud Security Engineer to join our expanding team responsible for implementation and delivery of customer solutions focused on Cloud Security maintenance, monitoring and delivery. Desired candidate will be a versatile, adaptable and experienced Cloud Security engineer familiar with MS Azure Defender Suite in particular.

 

Core Responsibilities:

Serve as Team Lead for MS Azure Defender Suite products, working closely with other Senior Engineers supporting systems and initiatives.

Configure, deploy and monitor full Defender Suite in customer environments.

Write and maintain effective security documentation for Cloud Security services.

Participate in implementation and improvement of customer’s MS Azure Cloud Security solutions during standard business hours and some on-call after hours.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with business, technical, project and vendor teams involved in overall strategy for Cloud Security solutions.

Collaborate with business contacts to ensure solutions reflect both customer business requirements and our standards, controls, policies, and principles.

Demonstrate dedication to integrity and ethics, continual process improvement, and customer satisfaction.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science / cybersecurity or equivalent technical work experience delivering Cloud Security solutions .

5+ years cybersecurity experience developing, implementing, and integrating security solutions in complex technical environments.

Ability to effective manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while providing personable on-time delivery in a challenging and complex environment.

Ability to translate business requirements into solid Cloud Security solutions.

Strong sense of ethics, motivation and commitment to moral responsibility.

Ability to maintain accurate time and billing records with minimal supervision.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills .

Ability to influence, educate and motivate others.

Ability to work effectively with global virtual teams across many timezones .

Dedication to lifelong learning, professional growth and continuous education

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Current MS Azure certifications (minimum of AZ104 & AZ500; more desired).

Experience with automation, infrastructure as code, containerization, and a variety of Azure and/or Cloud-agnostic solutions.

Experience with Cloud Security tools like CSPM, CASB, SASE, DLP, etc.

Knowledge of security solutions for public and hybrid cloud infrastructure, virtualization, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, microservices, containerization, data management, interconnect, routing, tunneling, DNS, etc.

Knowledge of micro-segmentation and zero trust principles of “verify explicitly; enforce least privilege access; assume breach” for customer data, devices, identities, platforms, and cloud infrastructure
