The Data Analytics & AI (DAA) Practice represents a growing capability within Atos and comprises a talented team of analysts, developers, consultants, and architects covering all aspects of the information management lifecycle, from data management and engineering through to business intelligence, analytics, and AI-powered solutions.

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled SAS Engineer to join our growing Data Analytics & AI Practice.
In this role, you will support the migration of SAS workloads, data pipelines, and associated processes to modern cloud-based data platforms. Working closely with SAS Subject Matter Experts, architects, and engineering teams, you will design, build, configure, and optimise SAS migration solutions while ensuring data quality, integrity, and successful business outcomes.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong SAS and ETL experience who is passionate about cloud transformation and modern data solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Build, configure, and implement SAS components and workloads on target cloud platforms.

Develop and optimise SAS data flows, ETL processes, and migration scripts to support successful cloud migration activities.

Execute data migration, validation, reconciliation, and cleansing activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Support testing, defect resolution, troubleshooting, and technical documentation throughout the migration lifecycle.

Collaborate with SMEs, architects, and delivery teams to ensure successful delivery of migration milestones and project objectives.
Skills We Can't Do Without

Strong experience in SAS engineering, development, and administration.

Proven expertise in ETL development, data integration, and data pipeline implementation.

Experience with data migration, validation, reconciliation, and data quality processes.

Scripting experience and the ability to automate migration and transformation activities.

Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.
Skills We'd Like

Experience with additional data integration and ETL technologies such as Talend, SSIS, DataStage, or Informatica.

Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

Location: UK-based. Remote working is available, with national mobility required.
