We are seeking a skilled Application Security Tester to execute complex and enterprise-level application security assessments across web applications, web services, mobile apps, and thick client environments. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality reports within defined timelines, demonstrate strong technical expertise, and effectively communicate with both business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute security testing for enterprise applications including web, API, mobile, and thick client systems.

• Complete projects within defined timelines and deliver detailed, high-quality reports.

• Gain in-depth knowledge of application architectures and security vulnerabilities.

• Perform security testing of web services and microservices.

• Conduct vulnerability likelihood determination, impact analysis, and risk assessment.

• Prioritize risks, recommend solutions, and document findings.

• Identify and articulate business risks posed by identified weaknesses.

• Communicate effectively with internal teams and customer stakeholders (verbal and written).

• Collaborate with business and technical teams during project scope definition, execution, and closure.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends; conduct knowledge-sharing sessions with team members.

• Apply risk assessment methodologies and frameworks to diverse applications.

• Be open to onsite deployments as business demands.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Application Security Testing.

• Expertise in application security testing methodologies and tools.

• Strong knowledge of web, API, and mobile application architectures.

• Hands-on experience with web services security testing.

• In-depth understanding of AJAX, SOAP, and RESTful web services.

• Ability to handle challenging situations and customers with professionalism.

• Flexible and creative in finding acceptable and alternative solutions.

• Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to interact with both business and technical personnel.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Application Architecture Reviews.

• Security code review experience.

• Knowledge of multiple development frameworks.

• Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CEH, OSCP, CISSP).

• Basic understanding of protocols/technologies such as SSL/TLS, Cryptography (symmetric & asymmetric encryption, PKI, etc.).

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
