IT Project Management in new construction and development projects

Tasks and Responsibilities:

As a sub-project lead, responsible for:

• Demand management, including tenant-specific requirements, IT requirements, and general market standards, rules, and regulations.
• Development of project-specific requirement catalogs as a baseline for tendering processes.
• Preparation, coordination, and control of suitable and aligned schedules, task plans, and cost plans in close collaboration with overall project management.
• Control of timeline, cost, and quality during the construction phase through on-site monitoring and regular site visits.
• Preparation of and support during acceptance procedures and handover to operations.
• Quality assurance, completeness, and proper storage of required documentation, reports, and protocols within the project-specific Document Management System.
• Support to overall project management during the setup and commissioning of new locations.
• Implementation and enforcement of defined standards at the respective locations.
• Acting as the IT technical interface with external vendors, internal departments, and customers.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Higher education degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical fields.
• More than 8 years of professional experience as a Project Manager, preferably in IT and construction-related environments.
• Proven experience in IT project management.
• Strong expertise in active and passive network infrastructures, connected devices, and workplace & media technologies.
• Experience implementing IT building blocks as part of building fit-out projects.
• Solid knowledge of emerging technologies and their application in real estate environments.
• PMP certification (desirable).
• Native Spanish (mandatory).
• High level of English (mandatory).
