Senior Software Engineer with Virtualisation Technologies for Telecom

We are looking for a Computer Science or Telecomunications senior Engineer with experience on virtualised 5G networks and backend service developments in Python or Go to join our diverse innovation team in Eviden, an Atos company. We offer a position in a dynamic research-oriented team about beyond 5G/6G in an international environment for our Research and Innovation department to develop your carrier.

Location:

• Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, Seville, Valladolid
• Hybrid-mode (possible teleworking at 60%)

Requirements:

• Computer Science or Telecommunication Engineer with knowledge in some virtual network technologies (i.e. NFV/SDN) and relevant functions (e.g. network exposure, network analytics, etc) of 5G architecture.
• Experience on using cloud-like resources, deploying microservices in containers (i.e. Docker compose. Kubernetes environment is a plus)
• At least 2 years of experience in backend software development in Python or GO.
• Experience in working in CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, etc) and agile environments.
• English B2+ minimum. Desirable C level.

Desirable Requirements:

• Understanding of private networks deployment for enabling communication services in manufacturing, railway or other mission-critical services, etc is considered a plus.
• It would be also considered valuable certain familiarity with AI/ML libraries and tools
• Any open telecom project such as open gateway, camara, etc is also valuable.
• Experience writing general technical publications, white papers or scientific papers.
• Additionally any previous experience in innovation and pre-sales departments or in European research projects (H2020, HE) is valuable.
