Solution Manager, Hybrid Cloud and Infastructure

We're seeking an experienced Solution Manager to support our Hybrid Cloud and Infrastructure business line operations in Iberia.

The Hybrid Cloud and Infrastructure's Solution Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing innovative solutions for IT infrastructure services that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud and infrastructure technologies and infrastructure management and a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. This position reports to the Head of the Growth and Pre-Sales department at the Hybrid Cloud and Infrastructure business line in Spain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of infrastructure (On-prem, Cloud and Hybrid) and system solutions, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and infrastructure management.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop and present proposals to potential clients.
• In collaboration with the commercial and technical teams, build solutions end to end:
• Identifies the necessary contributors (solution architect or subject matter expert, T&T manager, or Partner)
• Manages the solution design following the winning strategy agreed upon, creates the Solution Storyboard, documents and reviews assumptions and risk log, including suitable risk mitigation.
• Consolidates cost model in pricing tools and works closely with the financial architect to create the mapping between cost and price unit.
• Understands and follows the bidding and delivery approval processes during the Bid phase.
• Presents the solution designed compellingly and concisely at Senior levels, seeking the required approvals.
• Explain and defend the solution to customers. Creates customer-facing documents, presentations, and proposals.
• Successfully executes a controlled bid closure and participates in the handover to the delivery team.
• Ensure all solutions are secure, scalable, and cost-effective
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing infrastructure-managed services and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Hybrid Cloud and IT Infrastructures technology (DBs, Web Services, SSL certificates, virtualization, LAN, WAN/SDWAN, Network access and security
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Docker, Git or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with automation and orchestration technologies like Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of network architecture and security best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
