Description

We are looking for a professional to support integration engineering, technical validation, and deployment activities for telecommunications solutions in mission-critical and critical infrastructure environments. 

The selected candidate will be involved in activities covering network design, architecture validation, and multisensor system interoperability. 

Key Responsibilities

• Systems Integration Engineering: Participation in the design of integration architectures for surveillance subsystems (radar and electro-optical sensors) with corporate and tactical communications platforms for Command and Control (C2) centers.
• Evolution to Next-Generation Networks: Support in the design and transition towards SD-WAN network architectures, and the evolution of coverage studies for tactical 4G systems towards private 5G network deployments for security forces and emergency services.
• Testing and Validation Phase (FAT/SAT): Collaboration in the development of test protocols and participation in the execution of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for integrated telecommunications systems.
• Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructures: Support in the design of OT/IT network segmentation, theoretical configuration of advanced policies on Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), and application of perimeter security regulations required by clients such as AENA, ENAIRE, or Defense organizations.
• Bid Engineering and Technical Vendor Management: Evolution from product sourcing to the technical validation (compliance) of equipment against tender technical specifications.
• Technical qualification of radio link solutions, satellite communications (SATCOM), and network equipment against the requirements of operators (Vodafone, Orange) and public sector organizations (River Basin Authorities, Maritime Traffic Authorities).
• Project Documentation (As-Built): Support in the preparation of final technical project documentation, integration design reports, advanced network diagrams, and system operation manuals.
• Developing the Following Competencies: Ability to integrate systems, components, or processes to meet required specifications and high availability standards within the scope of the candidate’s academic discipline.

Requirements

• Knowledge and practical application of quality, security, and interoperability standards required in public tenders and critical infrastructures.
• Ability to collaborate in the planning, execution, and validation (testing) of telecommunications deployment projects.
• Ability to prepare technical validation reports, architecture design documents, and responses to complex technical requirements.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary environments, communicating integrated technical solutions both to internal engineering teams and during technical validation activities with vendors.
