Data Scientist (R&D Area)

We are looking for a pro-active, and experienced Data Scientist. We offer a position in a dynamic and international environment in our Research and Innovation department to develop your carrier.
Basic required skills:
- Skilled in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Data Science techniques.
- Deep understanding of statistics and analysis.
- Ability to code in multiple languages, including Python.
- Experience with data transformation (structured data format/schema transformation) using common programming tools (e.g., Python, JSON, etc.).
- Experience with ML frameworks, including Keras, Pandas, TensorFlow, or Pytorch.
- Experience with Git and collaboration tools, including Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Nexus, or Bitbucket.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Self-starter, proactive and autonomous character.
- Ability to take part in technical discussions / negotiation among multiple actors.
Other valuable skills:
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, containerization, and DevSecOps practices.
- Knowledge of Reinforcement Learning, including Markov Decision Processes (MDPs) modelling and Q-learning, Deep Q-Learning (DQN).
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and working with large-scale datasets
- Knowledge or interest in High Performance Computing (HPC) environments
Education:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Must be resident or allowed to work in Spain, without any change in the visa status.
Competencies:
- Fluency in English. English level B2. French a plus
- Familiar with Agile methodology for SW development, preferably in an international environment.
- Strong personal soft skills sets: Communicative, enthusiastic, highly collaborative, proactive, self-driven.
- Ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies quickly.
