About Atos AmplifyAtos Amplify provides technology consulting and advisory services as part of the Atos Group. We combine business and industry insight, AI-enabled innovation and technology expertise to help clients evolve their operating models and deliver sustainable business value.

About the role

At Atos Amplify, we are looking for a Director who combines deep banking knowledge, business acumen and a proven ability to develop business. You will work with senior banking executives to identify their main challenges and turn them into high-value consulting and transformation engagements.

The role needs commercial ownership as well as consulting credibility. You will originate opportunities, build investment cases and stay accountable for the client relationship.

Key responsibilities

Banking advisory and executive relationships

  • Build relationships with senior leaders across business lines, operations, finance, risk and technology.
  • Lead executive discussions and diagnostic workshops on customer experience, efficiency, modernisation and resilience, and turn them into transformation agendas.
  • Connect banking processes with data and AI, cloud, modernisation, automation and enterprise platforms. Start with the business problem, not a product.
  • Bring specialists, account teams, delivery leaders and partners together into one coherent solution.

Business acumen and client value

  • Link proposed change to banking economics: revenue, cost-to-income, cost-to-serve, risk, customer outcomes and capital efficiency.
  • Build investment cases with clear benefits, costs, timing and risks, separating mandatory regulatory change from discretionary investment.
  • Challenge assumptions so that value claims are credible and engagements stay profitable.

Business development and practice growth

  • Build and deliver account and sector growth plans: new buying centres, existing relationships and new routes to market.
  • Originate and qualify demand autonomously: anticipate RFPs and turn executive conversations and workshops into opportunities with a clear sponsor and funding.
  • Lead proposals and complex pursuits through negotiation, closing and mobilisation.
  • Own an agreed contribution to pipeline, bookings, revenue and margin, with credible forecasts.
  • Strengthen the banking practice: market insight, reusable propositions, partners and the development of future client leaders.

What you bring

  • 10+ years in consulting, banking, technology transformation or professional services, with senior client or consulting leadership. A major consulting firm background is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of banking value chains: retail and business banking, corporate and investment banking, payments, risk, fraud, compliance, digital channels, data, core banking or operations.
  • Knowledge of DORA, NIS2, the EU AI Act, GDPR, security, sovereignty and third-party risk.
  • A proven record of building trusted C-level relationships, generating demand, leading proposals and contributing to wins in matrix organisations.
  • Experience in major transformation programmes and a sound understanding of data and AI (including generative and agentic AI), cloud, modernisation, automation or enterprise platforms.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, structured thinking and excellent executive communication: clear business cases, proposals and decision papers.

Education and languages

  • Valued: a degree in business, finance, economics, engineering or technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Languages: Spanish Native and advanced English (C1).
