_ Functional Lead for XBRL and Insurance Regulation The team is looking to hire a Functional Lead for XBRL and Insurance Regulation to strengthen the service’s functional and regulatory capabilities in response to the challenges arising from the ongoing regulatory evolution. Over the coming months, we will be addressing several initiatives related to the implementation of new requirements associated with IRRD, the evolution of EIOPA taxonomies, and the forthcoming transition to the DPM 2.0 architecture. These initiatives require a highly specialized functional and regulatory profile with deep expertise in XBRL, capable of assessing the impact of regulatory changes and leading the definition of the solutions required for their implementation. The successful candidate will act as the service’s functional reference for regulatory and XBRL matters, participating in the analysis and interpretation of new regulatory requirements, the evolution of information models, the functional definition of solutions, and the preparation of initiatives related to IRRD and DPM 2.0. Key Responsibilities Lead the functional analysis of regulatory requirements related to Solvency II, IRRD, and DPM 2.0. Interpret regulatory frameworks and translate them into functional requirements and technical solutions aligned with the current and future needs of the service. Ensure proper alignment between regulatory data models, EIOPA XBRL taxonomies, and their national extensions. Analyze, design, and enhance regulatory data transformation processes and XBRL reporting generation mechanisms. Perform functional and regulatory validation of reported information. Provide expert support for the generation and submission of XBRL instances. Act as the primary functional liaison between the client, business stakeholders, architecture teams, and software development teams. Required Experience and Qualifications The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in XBRL-related projects and regulatory or financial reporting initiatives, together with proven experience in functional analysis within complex regulatory environments and participation in projects related to Solvency II, DPM, and European regulatory taxonomies. Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate: In-depth knowledge of insurance and pension fund regulations. Proven experience in the practical implementation of XBRL-based regulatory requirements. Strong knowledge of the Data Point Model (DPM) architecture and its evolution towards DPM 2.0. Experience in regulatory initiatives similar to IRRD. Solid understanding of regulatory reporting processes and information models within the insurance sector. Technical Requirements Candidates should have hands-on experience with: XBRL creation, validation, and management tools. Advanced knowledge of XML, XSD, XBRL, XSL, and XSLT. SQL development and database querying. Microsoft .NET technologies, including Visual Basic .NET and C# .NET. Analysis and resolution of both functional and technical issues related to regulatory reporting processes.
