How we work: 

At Eviden, our AMS (Application Management Services) practice delivers ongoing support and development across a diverse range of systems - from bespoke solutions to commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products. This includes the full lifecycle of services such as Incident and Problem Management, Service Requests, and enhancements or changes that typically begin with structured solution design and proposal documentation.

Our teams apply DevOps practices to accelerate delivery and maintain high standards of software quality. This integration of Agile and DevOps ensures a responsive, resilient, and continuously improving service environment.

What you will do as a Scrum Master: 


Our Scrum Masters play a key role in delivering impactful digital services. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Adopt a customer focus to understanding what the customer and user needs.  
  • Guide and coach the scrum team on agile practices and principles to deliver quality products.   
  • Facilitating the agile delivery, ensuring scope and objectives are understood by the scrum team.  
  • Supporting the Product Owner (PO) to develop a Product Roadmap and maintain a prioritised Product Backlog.  
  • Coordinates the agile ceremonies including daily scrum, sprint planning, review, and retrospectives.   
  • Manages the agreed sprint backlog, monitoring the burndown and maintaining velocity.   
  • Leading the cross functional scrum team to influence and drive decisions, supporting the PO managing stakeholder expectations.   
  • Continuously improve the high performing team through recognition of strengths and development opportunity.  
  • Ensures any blocker / impediments to the scrum teams progress is surfaced and resolved as soon as possible.   
  • Attends the scrum of scrums and supports the senior scrum master.  
  • Works with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within the role.  
  • Collaborates with programme leadership team communicating progress in the scrum of scrums as well as participating in Programme increment Planning. 

 

Required Skills & Experience: 
 

  • Active Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM I) is mandatory to demonstrate structured knowledge and professional commitment to agile delivery. 
  • Candidates must demonstrate direct and consistent experience facilitating Scrum events, coaching teams, and delivering outcomes using Scrum (not general agile exposure). 
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Ability to effectively collaborate with developers, testers, and technical leads, with a clear grasp of modern delivery pipelines and engineering processes. 
  • Familiarity with tools like Azure ADO, Jira, Confluence, and a working understanding of continuous integration and automated testing tooling (e.g., Jenkins, Selenium). 
  • Understanding of Scrum of Scrums. Practical experience or clear understanding of scaled agile environments and multi-team coordination. 
  • Approach to delivery planning - able to articulate how team capacity is allocated across technical debt, bug fixing, and innovation initiatives, including familiarity with structured models (e.g., 15-10-5 rule).
