The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. 

The role involves engaging with clients to understand their business needs, translating these into functional requirements, and delivering high-quality solutions that drive business value. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their business processes and needs. 
  • Conduct discovery workshops to gather and document functional requirements. 
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and solution designs. 
  • Design, configure, and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools. 
  • Develop custom applications, workflows, and dashboards to meet client requirements. 
  • Ensure solutions align with best practices and industry standards. 
  • Lead and manage end-to-end implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and business analysts. 
  • Provide project status updates and manage stakeholder expectations. 
  • Provide training and support to end-users and administrators on Power Platform solutions. 
  • Develop comprehensive documentation, including user guides and technical specifications. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power Platform applications. 
  • Stay updated with the latest features and updates in Microsoft Power Platform. 
  • Advise clients on best practices and strategies for continuous improvement. 
  • Identify opportunities for process optimisation and automation. 

To be successful in this role, you should have: 

  • Experience in functional consulting with significant experience in Power Platform. 
  • Proven track record of successful Power Platform implementations and projects. 
  • Experience in engaging with senior stakeholders and managing client relationships. 
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. 
  • Additional knowledge of all components of Power Platform and how they can be used to provide business solutions. 
  • Knowledge of Power Platform ALM methods. 
  • Understanding of integration capabilities with other Microsoft technologies (e.g., Dynamics 365, Azure and M365). 
  • Experience with Power Platform governance, security, administration and compliance best practices. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 
  • Understanding of Agile project methodologies. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Desirable Certifications: 

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200) (preferred). 
  • Additional certifications in related technologies (e.g., Dynamics 365, Azure) are a plus. 

 

Essential Criteria 

Most of our clients are UK Public Sector and Defence, so Security Clearance is required. To qualify for Security Clearance, you must have lived and worked in the UK for at least the last 5 years. If you are unable to meet these criteria, we cannot progress your application. 

This role is remote, within the UK. Although, we also have offices across the UK which you can choose to visit from time to time.
