Role Description-

The role requires a highly technical lead to work as part of the current team to oversee all aspects of the application:

Overseeing multiple development streams of work at a technical lead level to provide direction and guidance in order to deliver complex pieces of work.

A drive to gain knowledge from the current technical lead to reduce a bottle neck and risk to the project due to unavailability.

Lead from the front and be a focal point of any technical discussions and decisions.

Lead in elaboration and designing of intelligence solutions with his/her technical hat.

Lead in new ways to improve the development and deployment cycle. Design, build and deploy BI solutions as and when required.

Creating and executing queries upon request for data Translate business needs to technical specifications.

Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.

Evaluate and improve existing BI systems. Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.

Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.

Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.

Develop and update technical documentation.

Review of work done by other technical resources.

Interact with the client in face-to-face sessions to deliver on target activities.

Be pragmatic and detail orientated in their approach.

Must be able to demonstrate good analytical skills and a logical approach to problem solving.

Have an in-depth knowledge of modelling in Power BI.

Demonstrate experience across a range of relational and database technology, including SQL Server and data lakes.

Amazon Infrastructure, Storage, Compute, VPC Power BI Server for User Dashboard and Reporting Amazon MQ integration software Knowledge of Amazon Cloud Services Github Confluence/Jira , Slack Agile principles.
