The Head of Energy CEP (Client Executive Partner) is responsible for overseeing strategic client accounts and growth within the Energy sector and is the key Atos customer-facing representative, who is directly responsible for all customer relationships in the Energy sector at a strategic level. The Energy CEP is a director within the Private Sector Industry team who has accountability for all deliveries to clients in this sector, handling the orders, revenue, margin, and 
cash of our contracts, and as such has total P&L responsibility. This role focuses on driving client satisfaction, expanding business opportunities across the Energy sector, and aligning IT solutions with clients’ business goals and industry challenges. This role is the Atos representative for Energy who runs customer business relationships with discipline. Their mission is to profitably grow the Energy sector by increasing the impact of the Atos Critical National Infrastructure and wider IT Services portfolio & capabilities on the client’s businesses.

 

Business critical metrics:


• Order entry growth
• Total Revenue growth
• Project Margin
• Free Cash Flow (billing acceleration, overdue reduction, contract asset reduction)
• Customer satisfaction

Main Responsibilities:

 

Client
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
• Understand client business objectives and align IT services accordingly.
• Be positioned as a business partner of the client’s organisation
• Build market and competitor analysis to support account growth
• Assume full end-to-end P&L accountability for the client account, including budgeting
• Be accountable for all dimensions of the account, from sales to operational excellence in service and project delivery, and collection of cash
• Implement Account Plans, growth strategy, and ambition for their client(s)
• Own and drive bidding activity on account(s) in scope
• Serve as the primary point of contact for executive-level stakeholders.


Industry


• Be a central part of the conversation in the industry and advise on industry trends, 
emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
• Share insights with clients to support innovation and strategic planning.
• Drive the development of capability to support the convergence of client needs in Energy across other Critical National Infrastructure sectors

 

Growth


• Identify and pursue opportunities for account expansion.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, and solution teams to develop tailored proposals.
• Drive cross-selling and up-selling of services and solutions.

 

Solution & Advisory


• Provide strategic guidance on digital transformation, cloud, cybersecurity, and other IT initiatives.
• Facilitate executive briefings and innovation workshops.
• Translate business needs into technology strategies.

 

Operational


• Drive service delivery performance and ensure SLAs are met.
• Resolve escalations and ensure client satisfaction.
• Lead business reviews and performance reporting.

 

People 


• Lead and functionally manage a dedicated core client management team 
• Develop the people across the entire account delivery team to ensure delivery 
excellence that leads to growth

 

Qualifications:


• Proven experience in client-facing roles within IT services and consulting
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT solutions (e.g., cloud, infrastructure, software development, managed services, data, AI and cybersecurity)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to build trust and influence at the C-suite level
• Strategic thinker with a consultative approach
