We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to lead our UK&I AI strategy, practice, and delivery. This role combines the inspirational energy of an AI evangelist—helping clients, partners, and colleagues see what’s possible—with the 
commercial acumen and operational discipline of a business leader who ensures that AI initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes.

As Head of AI, you will drive our position as a trusted AI transformation partner—enabling customers across industries to leverage the opportunities data & AI provide, and at scale. In conjunction with the global AI leadership, you will lead the development of AI services, 
whilst shaping strategic partnerships and ensuring delivery excellence across the UK&I geography.

Furthermore, with data & AI playing a key role in the Atos transformation, you will provide transformative leadership to the UK&I community, support global AI initiatives, and help shape our Customer AI journeys.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the UK&I AI strategy that positions Atos as a leader in trusted and 
    responsible AI.
  • Acting as a transformation leader, develop and embed AI capabilities across our 
    portfolio—cloud & MI, digital workplace, cybersecurity, business applications, and 
    managed services.
  • Translate emerging AI trends and technologies into actionable, high-value propositions 
    for clients and internal operations, creating strategic-level narratives that articulate the 
    value of AI.
  • Transform and lead the Full Stack Engineering (FSE) organization, embedding Agentic 
    AI technologies and principles to accelerate value realization.

Business Growth and Client Impact

  • Lead the creation of AI-powered solutions and go-to-market offerings aligned to key 
    industry verticals (e.g., public sector & defense, healthcare & manufacturing, financial 
    services, and transport & utilities).
  • Partner with client executives to identify and shape transformative AI opportunities 
    that drive measurable business impact.
  • Support sales, bids, and account teams with thought leadership, solution design, and 
    executive-level engagement.
  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics that link AI investments directly to the client and 
    business value.

Evangelism and Ecosystem Leadership

  • Serve as the organization’s public voice on AI—representing Atos at industry events, 
    media, and partner ecosystems.
  • Promote an AI-first mindset internally, fostering innovation and collaboration across 
    technical and non-technical teams.
  • Build and nurture relationships with leading technology providers, start-ups, and 
    academic partners to accelerate innovation and co-creation.

Governance, Trust, and Responsibility

  • Lead the development and implementation of AI governance frameworks, ensuring 
    ethical, transparent, and compliant deployment across client solutions.
  • Work with legal, risk, and data privacy teams to uphold the highest standards of trust 
    and accountability in all AI initiatives.
  • Contribute to global policy dialogues and industry collaborations on responsible and 
    human-centric AI.

Operational Excellence and Talent Leadership

  • Ensure capability development and career growth within the AI practice, creating a 
    culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Manage budgets, partnerships, and delivery pipelines with a clear focus on profitability 
    and sustainability.
  • Ensure alignment with the brilliant basics’ ethos of operational excellence for the AI 
    practice

About You

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience leading large-scale AI, data, or digital transformation programs in 
    a global enterprise or consulting environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn AI vision into commercial success—from ideation through 
    to scalable delivery.
  • Strong understanding of AI and machine learning technologies, architectures, and 
    emerging trends (e.g., generative AI, MLOps, edge AI).
  • Executive presence and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior 
    stakeholders and customers.
  • Track record of building high-performing teams and influencing cross-functional 
    leadership at scale.
  • Has experience in building and running an autonomous business unit, as part of a wider 
    organization, ensuring operational excellence.

Desirable

  • Experience shaping AI service lines or business units within a systems integrator, 
    consultancy, or technology firm.
  • Strong connections within the AI ecosystem—partners, vendors, research communities, 
    and regulators.
  • Familiarity with global compliance and ethical frameworks for AI (e.g., EU AI Act, ISO 
    42001).
