*This role can be performed fully remote or hybrid with the option of working out of a number of Atos locations – Durham, Glasgow, Lytham and London.

**It requires BPSS clearance, meaning 3 years of residency in the UK to present date.

 

Your job in a nutshell:

 

The position will sit within the Atos Risk & Assurance Directorate. This role is key to driving our risk maturity forward by enabling a consistent and effective approach to the Business Continuity Framework management across the NS&I account B2C and B2B business lines.

 

What will you be doing:

 

 

  • Lead the annual Business Continuity Management (BCM) workplan, overseeing all BCMS activities.

  • Ensure regular reviews and approvals of Business Continuity materials, providing feedback and challenge.

  • Maintain and oversee the Crisis Management Team Plan, Business Continuity Policy, and Minimum Standards.

  • Conduct crisis management exercises and user testing of plans, ensuring actions are tracked to completion.

  • Coordinate incident responses, ensuring the right business areas are engaged and post-incident reviews are completed.

  • Provide assurance over third-party supplier Business Continuity frameworks.

  • Develop Business Continuity awareness across business units through training and engagement.

  • Ensure the Business Continuity Framework aligns with industry Good Practice Guidelines.

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for Business Continuity in bids, projects, and audits.

  • Oversee the Operational Resilience framework, ensuring policy compliance and adherence to client contractual obligations.

 

Requirements:

  • Core expertise in Business Continuity Management

  • Written and oral communication and presentation skills

  • Knowledge of Good Practice Guidelines

  • Understanding the drivers of changing internal and external factors to the Business Continuity Framework

  • Strong relationship management and collaboration skills (with internal and external senior stakeholders)

  • Statutory member of BCI

  • Understanding of regulation, policy and standards applicable to the Financial Services industry.

  • Good understanding of IT controls, risk management, best practice and relevant ISO standards.

  • Good understanding of Risk Management principles and frameworks.

  • Preferrably: Experience in Business Continuity, and Financial Services Experience (Life & Pensions)
