Job in a nutshell:


The main focus of this role is in building relationships that have strategic significance to Atos, developing business opportunities, and working on sales efforts through to closure. This would include prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing new business to existing and new customers.

 

The Account Manager brings a Point of View to the Customer engagement and uses all resources to solve customer problems with appropriate Atos Services and Portfolio.  The role is crafted to ensure that the customer willingly spends a higher % of their budget with Atos.

 

In the role, the successful candidate might take full ownership for one or a portfolio of smaller clients. Alternatively, the candidate may join a larger Account team. The decision as to which specific client(s) will depend on the experience and background of the candidate plus Private Sector Sales strategy.

 

This role requires Private Sector industry experience, evidence of building strong client relationships, a track record of technology sales success, and a solid understanding of technology.

 

 

What will you be doing:

 

Tell the world about Atos and help us grow our business. You’ll be joining a dynamic Private Sector team in a fast-moving environment, gaining valuable experience and driving new business for existing and prospective clients. We are looking for a qualified Sales Account Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales. As an Account Sales Manager, you should work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented. Ultimately, you should be able to grow our business by building successful, long-term client relationships.

 

 

Key measures:

 

  • Order Entry (OE) target: expectation of generating €10m+ per year
  • Revenue and Operating Margin target for their target account/territory

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Evidence of a track record of sales/account management experience in technology services
  • Experience and knowledge of issues facing Private Sector clients
  • Ideally bring a “black book” of relationships to draw upon
  • Ability to work as part of/lead a multi-disciplinary team to produce winning deals
  • A track record of spotting and winning business with a short sales cycle, and the resourcefulness to develop and win strategic business with long sales cycles and complex stakeholder maps
  • The ability to translate business requirements into solid proposals, and to translate complex IT issues & solutions back into the business language of the client
  • Ability to form long lasting client relationships
  • Experience of producing detailed proposals and written reports
  • Experience of preparing and delivering sales presentations
  • A solid knowledge of IT Solutions, in particular the use of such solutions for business benefit
  • Able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation skills
