Funded Project Manager (M/F) European R&D Projects – Advanced & Quantum Computing | HPC | AI Bull - Location: France

Your Mission

You will manage and deliver strategic funded R&D projects in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, High-Performance Computing (HPC), and emerging Quantum Computing technologies. In addition to project execution, you will actively contribute to the development of new funded projects, supporting proposal preparation, redaction and submission to European and national funding programs. You will operate at the intersection of project delivery, financial governance, and innovation development, within a highly collaborative and international ecosystem. 

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Drive the execution of strategic funded projects

• Lead the day-to-day management of complex, multi-partner R&D projects

• Coordinate international consortia involving industrial partners, research institutions, and public stakeholders

• Monitor project progress, deliverables, milestones, risks, and dependencies

• Ensure alignment between technical roadmaps and contractual commitments You ensure that projects are delivered on time, in line with funding expectations. 

2. Ensure financial performance and compliance

• Manage project budgets, financial tracking, and funding allocations

• Consolidate effort and financial data across internal teams and external partners

• Lead the preparation of project reviews, audits, and evaluations

• Ensure compliance with contractual You play a critical role in securing funding, ensuring transparency, and maintaining strong relationships with funding bodies.

3. Coordinate a complex international ecosystem

• Act as a central interface between R&D teams, finance & management

• Manage dependencies and ensure effective collaboration

• Support partners in delivering their contributions

• Facilitate communication and issue resolution within the consortium You contribute to building a strong, high-performing and collaborative project environment. 

4. Contribute to proposal preparation and submission Alongside project execution, you will support the development of new funded opportunities:

• Contribute to the identification and analysis of relevant funding calls

• Support the preparation of project proposals (technical, financial, administrative sections)

• Participate in interactions with funding agencies during submission and evaluation phases You help transform innovation ideas into structured, competitive proposals with a high success rate.
